Emirates Steel's Rebar in coil products are manufactured in the Company’s 120 tons per hour walking hearth type reheating furnace and continuous rolling mill, which consists of 16 horizontal and vertical alternatively arranged rolling stands and subsequent quenching and coil finishing facilities.
Our rebar coil products are produced using a quenching process guaranteeing superior mechanical properties to specifications BS 4449/97 Grade 460B, BS 4449/2005 Grade B 500B and ASTM A615 Grade 60. The plant’s total annual capacity to produce rebar in coil sized between 8 millimeters and 16 millimeters is 480,000 metric tons. |
